I ran the program cpu-z on my computer and when I looked in the ram section it said pc3200 200mhz. Does this mean that my ram is running at 200mhz or something else. And if it is my ram how can I get it to run at 400mhz like it is suppose to?

PC3200 is SUPPOSED to run at 200MHz! Asus A7N8X-X
1800+ @ 8.5 x 200MHz
768MB PC3200 2.5-3-3-7
Asus A9550GE/TD 128MB
WinME/WinXP Pro
I thought pc3200 ran at 400mhz. I don't know why I thought.
thanks
I just looked online at the ram I bought. It says Ultra 512mb pc3200 400mhz. Isn't the 400mhx what it should be running at.
PC3200 is also called DDR400. DDR = double data rate. The actual setting is 200MHz, but it's effectively doubled to give you 400MHz. 200MHz is the correct setting...trust me ;) Asus A7N8X-X

That makes sense. Thanks for the ram lesson.
