pc shuts down n reboots

i have just changed my mobo and ram and my pc keeps shuting down mid game.
i went to control panel then admin tools then system error log and it says it is something called "the imapi cd-burning com service entered the stopped state. does any 1 know what this is.

That is the built in CD burning software within XP. I doubt that's related to your problem. Sounds like to me your power supply is not adequate for your system anymore. What is the brand of your power supply, wattage, and how many amps on the 12V rail (label on the PSU should say)?
