OS: Vista Ultimate x64
CPU/Ram: e8400 @ 3.6Ghz & 1.3v, 2x
Comment:

My new PC always crashes after 10 seconds to 15 minutes of gaming. The screen goes black (No signal) and the computer remains on. Here are detailed specs:

aBit IP35 Pro XE
Intel C2D e8400 @ 3.6GHz (1.3v)
Sunbeamtech Core Contact cooler (39c idle temps - 52c load)
Asus Radeon HD 4850
OCZ 2x2GB DDR2-800 5-5-5-15
PC Power & Cooling 610w Silencer
Antec 900

Running with:
Vista Ultimate x64
ATI Catalyst 8.9 drivers

I think this is an issue with the graphics card because the system is 8 hrs Orthos stable (that is where I got the 52c max CPU temp from).

The graphics card temps are pretty high (67c idle, 92-95c load) so I think this could be a heat issue, but I think those temps are normal for these cards.

Anyone have any advice?

I see you have your CPU overclocked. What settings did you use to arrive at 3.6GHz? Are you running the RAM in sync? Did you lock the PCI-e at 100MHz?

The ram is running at spec (ddr2-800 5-5-5-15 @ 2.2v). The FSB is at 400Mhz (cpu multi = 9x).

I have not locked the PCI-e bus at 100Mhz, but I will definitely try that when I get home and see if it helps.

That 2.2v tells me that your RAM is actually factory overclocked DDR2-667. True DDR2-800 runs at 1.8v.

Since my last post, I have:
-Put in a PC Power & Cooling 610w Silencer
-Put the CPU at stock settings (3.0Ghz), memory at 1:1.2 ratio (ddr2-816)

I noticed the gpu fan was spinning up to really high speeds in small bursts (like, on-off-oooonnnnn-off-onn) so I quit out to CCC and saw the temp was at 98c. I put the fan at a manual setting of 60%, but I still got crashes afterwards.

I did not get any crashes in HL2 Ep 2 (max settings) and Call of Duty 4 (max settings), but Halo: CE and Lego Batman both crashed after less than a minute.
