Ok, so i downloaded all three dawn of war games, and no problems. I go to try the online, and the normal patch comes up. I am trying Soulstorm right now. So the patch codes pop up and i him Download. Then the little title box that usally appears only has 100% in it. No progress of download or anything. So i wait for along time and it does not change. So i try going online on Dark Crusade and same stuff happens. This is the first time i have had trouble, it works on my PC but wont patch on my new labtop? Please if anyone has a thought on to why this is that would be great.

I do mean legally, you know those cd looking things you get with games. Sometimes you can download with those. Thats what i am using. And even if i downloaded it online you still need the verification code that you only get through the retail game box. So the fact that i am asking for help about the online patching must mean that i downloaded the game and am having troubles with the patching of the online.

Do you have Vista on your PC or just on the laptop? I know OS compatibility isn't always the answer, but this game says XP, not Vista. Is there a window behind the other one with Vista saying it needs your permission to continue something? Sorry, just checking the easiest things first.

no it says nothing, and no title screen popes up. And yes its vista on labtop. my pc has vista. Ok so for all three games, DAW 40000, winter assult, and dark crusade, on my labtop, i had the same problem, it wouldnt download how it usally does, it just shows a 100% on it. so what i did is i copied the code that i would normally be downloading and i types it in the search url toolbar. So i hit i enter and the screen that usally popes up saying Run program etc etc. so all good i manualy did all three games and all work. I get to soul storm and same thing i write down the code, i put into url but this time a error page comes up. so i cant even download the patch manually. Any awnsers?
