I am upgrading my pc to this config but i am getting double minded will this config work for painkiller .
Amd Athlon Xp 2100+
512 Mb ram 266 Mhz bus
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 with 128 mb
MSI KM4AM-L MOTHERBOARD
DVD-ROM

AND AMD ATHLON 2100+ HAS FSB 266 SO THE RAM MUST ALSO HAVE THE SAME FSB ??? REPLY SOON PLZ

Computer's fine, Painkiller sucks.

Everything is OK except for the graphic card, that game will lag like hell with that card even on the lowest settings, try and get a Radeon 9600 Pro or Geforce 5700 instead as these will play the game much better

and Painkiller is awesome

But Nvidia Recommends A minimum mx 440
and this game works like a dream on my friends laptop he has ati radeon 9200 Mobile with 64 mb vram

I to have a laptop with a Radeon 9200 128mb, Athlon XP 2500 Barton, 512mb DDR PC2700 and it runs ok but at very low resolutions to get it to run smooth

You would be much better of with a Radeon 9600 Pro

The resolution on the laptop to get it to play decently is 640x480, on PC in my sig I run the game at the highest settings at 1024x768 and average 80fps

for reference I get around the same FPS
with the rig listed below. and this is ran on the highest settings..

AMD Athlon XP 3000+
512 DDR PC2700
BFGtech Geforce 5900XT (OC)
Core 470mhz
Memory 795mhz
160 gig HD
DVD+/-RW
CD/RW

Processor: Athlon XP 2400+
Memory : 512 MB
OS : Win2k Prof
VGA : Nvidia GeForce4 MX440 SE 128MB
