overclock video card

OS: windows xp
CPU/Ram: 2800 with 1GB pc3200
Comment:

if one were to overclock a video card then lower the settings to the default, what problems could have occured or did occur?

-2800+ at 2.1ghz
-5900se 128mb
-2x512 of pc3200 dual channel at 400
-DFI lan party ultra B nforce 2

i used coolbits, and when gaming it looked fine except maybe a glitche here an there once in a while. and i tested the settings, so does tha mean the card is ok?
