Out of Range error on Screen

I have Diablo 2 with the Lord of Destruction Add on I used to have a 17' monitor and had no trouble and then it went out and I was stuick with a 15' one now I have gone back a different 17' monitor an Acer 77c and when I run Diablo 2 i get this message on my screen taht says out of range im guessing it has somethig to do with the refresh rate but im not sure what to do about it

thanks for that link I tried some settings overide stuff on my nvidia card and put the refresh at 60hz which is the refresh rate my monitor is running at still didnt work I tried playing around some more by changing my monitor refresh rate to something higher and then changing the graphic card refresh overide settings to match but still it gives me the out of range message

OK, try this. Look for the propietary drivers for the 17" Acer 77c and install it for the new monitor.
I agree; computing.net does need an edit button.

ok I updated the drivers on my graphics card and i found some setting for some advanced thing and there was some custom settings you could set you had to agree tos ome user agreeement something like I understan if i set something wrong here I could blow up my monitor and fry my graphics card l...LOL so anyways I changed settings there to match the refresh rate of my monitor exactly and now it works thanks everyone

Look in the Diablo folder and see if there is a config or ini file.
