when it says it requires 128 ram are you sure it's not video ram we need to know what you have for that

It was "Heroes of Might and Magic IV" quite an old game. When i played campaign this window popped up in whatever map i chose everytime. I didn't run anyother applications except norton antivirus and zonealarm firewall, shouldn't have anything to do with it.
Because it scanned my system requirements and it showed it needed 128mb ram and my 512mb ram, i had all the requirements passed and exceeded indeed.
My pc:
Pentium 4 2.4GHz
RAM:512mb
9gb free space available after installed
video card:GeForce2 MX/MX 400

maybe its ur video ram not your systems.. thats what i think oh well im not sure then good luck figuring it out sorry

Definately not video memory ;) Old games barely use 32 MB of it. Anyway, my guess is that there is a patch that the manufacturer of you game released to fix these bugs. Go get it and try it out.

I see you are using XP. If you were running win98 I would suggest dropping your VCache settings in sys ini. Win 98 cant cope with large ram - such as 512 plus 128 of graphics. 800mb maximum. MS have a fix posted for that. But it doesnt affect XP as far as I know. It reminds me of one of the original viruses that used to affect MS word, when viruses first came about. It might be worth updating your anti virus software and check your drives. Check the MS fixes also, often they address memory allocation errors.
