I am getting very confused with trying to host CoD and SoF2 online.
It seems that once i have selected the in game settings and started the server, there is no IP address in the details (tab), where it should be is the phrase "Listen Server".
I have tried dedicating to the internet, and then finding the server from the list and joining, however i cannot find it in the list of servers.
This is confusing me, is there something i am doin wrong, or any settings i need to change??
I have a broadband connection through a router.

plz someone help me out.
cheers
Dan.

To find the Ip is simple, its your own ip with the port number of the game on the end, the default CoD port is 28960. So for someone to connect to you for example, do ur ip then the port so , 192.168.0.1:28960. They will need to connect to that through the game console, using /connect followed by the ip and port number. Also when you search for youre server use an external game search program like ASE or Gamespy
