Alright, I have tried everything i know of and i still can't get this to work. I cant retrive any HL/CS servers when i search, i also cannot connect to FFXI (only shortly but never actualy gdet to the world). I can't get online games to work period.
Internet connection is as follows:
AOL broad band DSL( boo , hiss, and whatever lol it wasnt my choice)

Broadxent modem, its just a transparent gate way, but if anyone knows how to access it maybe i could check on the port forwarding.

Linksys router, fully updated. My compy is in the DMZ aswell so all ports are opened. not only that but i bypassed it and got the same problem.

I am connecting to AOL using a pppoe connection with the router, or the comp in the bypass case, so im not running any aol software.

Somone please help me get an idea as to whats going on. I Really only think its that DSL modem blocking something, though it might be the aol service, but everything worked before.

So other than what i said, or if you know how to gain access to the modem, any ideas?

everything worked before what? Before you switched to AOL for Broadband? Before you got a new modem? Before you got the router? Before you changed a setting?
