hi all

after many night (and days!) of research im finally happy with a build and am about to order,

theres a burning question that i just cant seem to get a good answer, im thinking of getting an XFX 6950 1gb, will this fit in my mATX board asus P8H67-M EVO.

ive tried doing the math with dimesions but im still not sure, looks like i might be cutting it close.
i would really hate to have all the parts arrive only fo find the gpu dosent fit the mobo.

any advice/answers would be great.

i just need some re-assurance

Why don't you list all the specs to your build, including the case?

The card dimensions are 10.2" x 4.38" x 1.5"

The board dimensions are 9.6" x 9.6"

That means that the card is 0.6" longer than the board, plus it's a double width card. Now look at the board to see what's in the way. The video card will block the PCIe x1 slot, it will probably rest directly on the chipset heatsink (or damn close to it), it will make changing the RAM difficult, & there may be interference with the SATA 6.0 ports. It's going to be close. Hopefully you're not trying to sqeeze it into a compact case?

"Hopefully you're not trying to sqeeze it into a compact case?"

thanks for the answer, im not worried at all, my case is pretty damn hefty and its got plenty space (NZXT LEXA BLACK LINE) ,im not too worried about any inconveniences like changing ram etc.. as i dont dick around with the PC much, i just need the damn thing to
