I have an older game (Tombraider 1) which will not function if I install directX How can I have Windows with directX and Windows without directx can I use a user profile or a hardware profile or do I have to create a second partition so that I have the first partition win98 +directx and the second partition win98 without directx. Only answer if you know.

Thanks

I have Tomb raider 1 on my system, and it runs fine. Im currently running direct X9.b I think. Try a different version of direct x as there should not be a conflict
