my problem is will my mother board handle the cpu.

i upgraded the psu to a 600w and added a graphics card. I want to get the best possible cpu

thanks for any suggestions

The Athlon II X3 455 exceed the maximum motherboard TDP which is 89W.
U are lucky Athlon II x2 250u works in your motherboard, may be u should stick to Regor cores and c2 stepping.
Try Athlon II x2 255 (i can't guarantee u if it will work or not).
