I'm having a weird issue with my PC crashing during full screen games. It just freezes completely, to the point alt-ctrl-del won't do anything. The sound still runs but nothing is responsive. It's been going on for about a week now. I've reformatted and cleaned the inside of the tower (it was quite dusty). I was thinking it was a heating problem, and my video card remains quite hot. It only happs when I'm running games; normal Windows functions won't cause this. Any suggesstions?

Well from what u say it sounds definetly like a heating problem u say ya video card gets hot well have u checked its temps when this happens the 8800 series cards are known to run hot but the not so hot on the 9800 so i would check ya card temps first as games are the most graphic demanding this could be ya problem also check that u have the latest video drivers installed for ya card... remember its important to disable ya firewall & anti-virus while u install ya new driver if u need to update it......!
