Hi there. When i try to install the latest nvidia drivers (61.77), i get to about 15% installed, and then it says something about it not being certified for windows xp and prompts me to either quit or continue. One time, i tried to continue, and when i restarted my comp, the screen went blank after the xp loading progress bar. Did anyone else have this problem? I am downloading the ones for win xp from nvidia.comd

I had that happen too!
Also had lots of weird things happen in games that previously ran fine.
I've now reverted back to the previous version until Nvidia sorts it's act out.

The latest ones 61.77 arent whql signed by windows or wateva. The only problems im having is with FarCry, so i mite roll back to the 61.76 and see if it works.

As for ur GF4 MX I think the older version gets the best results, around the 44 mark. Hopefully someone here with one can advise u.

The new 61.77 driver broke my Age of Mythology. Other than that, everything is sweet. Games like FarCry and UT2004 are actually running better.

LeFtBehinD,

If you're able to roll back your driver to a previous version, you didn't install them right.

nVidia explicitly states that the old driver MUST be uninstalled 1st & any antivirus program MUST be temporarily disabled before installing the new driver...
