I heard that there were sum bugs or something, that made the graphics in farcry all screwed up for people with nvidia graphics cards. Is this true? Are they gonna fix it? Someone please reply, because i am having doubts with whether i should buy the game or not.

Btw, one more thing, I was wondering if my system can run farcry on a decent fps on settings 800*600 or higher. My specs are:

amd3000+
geforce fx5600
512ddr

THanks in advanced

My card loves Farcry with all setting on high for the most part.

I think the problems that arrise are generaly driver issues as oppose to hardware problems. The game is very demanding on GPU but I ran it ok on low to medium with my previous FX5200 256 so I think you will be OK.

For my rig echelon4 i had it on:

Medium to Low at 1024*768 ran fine, when i put it all up to medium it started to lag a bit.

I have the Nvidia GeForce 6800GT and the game itself runs great at 1024x768 with the settings on highest...but the only problem is when i'm under water things are a little bit blocky for some reason, and also some of the textures appear as just black...like the dirt paths you walk on

dakkon, i heard that you needed the 1.2 patch for that. Do a search on google, i'm sure you'd find it somewhere(it was taken off by crytek for some reason, but i'm sure there are still some files remaining on the net).
