im worried its the and incompatability problem or something...
cuz no matter what setting i adjust...its the same problem with all the drivers ive used as well.

Those anomalies are described as artifacting, and it could be the result of an overheating card, case ambience or even a buckling PSU.
I would suggest thoroughly cleaning the innards of your computer including the CPU/HSF assembly and the video card's HSF as well.
Computer Components

If you're sure your temps are low, then the fault is with the card, specifically the memory. Call BFG's tech support and tell them the problem, and they will explain their return/exchange policy to you.
Bottom line is, your card has a physical defect that no software can fix. HOWEVER, one alternative is to use Coolbits to underclock the card. If that works, then it could've been high clocks causing instability.

i didnt contact them. but heres the latest update...seems the card is not at fault.
i installed it on a second system and ran 3dmark2001 on it. NO ARTIFACTS
ran 3dmark on my system and it still produces artifacts...could it be the motherboard? a bad agp slot or the CPU(omg i hope not)
whats the best way to test that system?

OH yea...BTW...
the artifacts appear upon BOOTING or starting the game...instantly it doesnt come up later after temps rise up.

Download and install the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard, turn off fastwrite and if you are overclocking the computer, cancel the overclock.
I still suggest you disassemble the CPU/HSF and thoroughly clean it out, then reassemble it.

ive checked for chipset drivers, i have the latest. i cleaned the CPU. ive tried a larger PSU 400w (+12/20a). and nothing so far...anything other ideas?

Might have missed this but on what sabertooth said, after reassebling the HSF for the CPU, dont forget to reapply the thermal compound...
