i just puchased NFS most wanted, i went to install it and it told me i needed to upgrade to directx9.0c....i did this and it still has this error msg...so i can't install the game...what should i do?
Where did you get DX9 from? The correct version is *usually* contained on the game CD.
Do you have a DX9 compatible video card?

Are you talking the old one? i love that game! it gave me so much trouble on Xp pro, but works fine on home for me, you only listed Xp as your OS, so some more info would be great
