Hi, thank for helping out !

I just noticed that my 9600 GT SCC doesn't run at the max speed when I play left for dead, causing a dramatically drop in fps and other stuff. According to rivatuner the stats, it is running at the standard-2D performace, BUT when I play other games such as Command And Conquer 3 Kain Wraith the core clock will go to 740mhz (performace 3D) which I dont lag at all. I have this problem after i formated my computer, the supplement power supply is plug in... I have been formating my cpu 3 times already and the problem still presists. I didnt have this problem before the format. I am wondering if there a possible way to set l4d to run on 3d Performance speed. Thanks!

The standard 2D runs on 450mhz.. which is too low casusing me to get 15 fps in-game. I cant set the standard 2-D to 740mhz...

"I have been formating my cpu 3 times already"

A CPU is a socketed chip that fits in the motherboard...you can not format it. You're formating the hard drive.

"I didnt have this problem before the format"

It would help to know why you formated in the 1st place. It's not something that's normally done unless there's a problem, so what was it that you were trying to fix?

BTW, did you upgrade the power supply on that PC?

Sorry what I meant was I formated the harddrive ~
I did it because I got a constant bluescreen of death, and the last thing that happen was that windows take atleast 15 minutes to boot up, and opening a folder atleast 3 minutes... I formated because of that problem and now is back to normal..
, nope my powersupply is the same, except that I plug in two molex into the supplementary power core (6-pin) instead of one this time.
