yes. in game, go to controller select and then hit one of the buttons on the controller or keyboard. not sure which. on my ps2 controller ocnnected to my computer, its triangle. it might be the same button as checking. u should get the position initials next to the indicator in the selection screen, so just keep hitting the button till u get to the one u want
