i just bought NFS:U2 and when i try to play it or even when it says "launch game?" right after installation the game doesnt start. the splash screen come on for a few seconds then it goes away and it never goes to full screen mode. i have tried re-installing windows, re-installing the game, "end process"ing everything on my username except taskmgr.exe and explorer.exe from task manager b4 running the game, and i have also tried installing it on another computer. on the other computer it does start the game but the screen is all messed up, u cant tell anything of what u r doing. is the CD messed up or what?? what can i do to fix this problem if at all possible. or does someone have an extra copy of NFS:U2 that i can have lol. i had this problem too until i updated my video drivers. you may want to try that.

whats your pc spec? i have never gotten that problem before, so i have no experience for this. try to bring the game to your friend and test it on your friedns pc. if it works, then you gotta update your computer. if it doesnt, go back to the store where you bought it and replace it. i am sure that you can only replace it, you cant return and get refund for it. if the store doesnt allow to replace, then contact the EA games Co., tell them the problem, and request CD replacement.
