I plan on purchasing a new video card here are my system specs: Motherboard- Abit IS-7(agp slot no pci express), Ram- gig, Processor- Pent4 2.6. My current vid card is ATI radeon 9800 pro. Well I was going to buy one of the new newer ones that recently came out by Nvidia, but friend was telling me that i would have a "lock." Either way does neone have ne suggestions price is really not an issue anywhere between 300-500.

From everything that I have learned, I would recommend upgrading your processor along with you video card to get the best performace. People said that the 9800pro bottlenecks up to the 3.0ghz processor. So, if you have that kind of money, go for a processor higher than the 3.0, then get you a 6800gt....or you could wait and totally convert to pci-e because your system is still good enough to run the newer games....up to you:)
