This week i will have my system all ready to put together and i just wanted to know any problems to look out for or that i may run into. This is my first full build and i don't want to make any n00b mistakes. I am only 15 and i have put alot of money into this so any help or adivse is greatly appreciated.
Here are the specs:

Case: Antec P180
Mobo: P5WD2 Premium
Ram: Corsair Xms2 DDR2 667
CPU: Pentium D 805
GPU: PCI-X X700 (Temporary!)
PSU: Tagan 420w
HDD: Scsi hard drive i have spare
Disk Drive: Cheapo DVD-Rom
Heatsink/Fan: Freezer 7 Pro

Just make sure you 'benchtest' the essential components first before final assembly in the tower case.

I think we went over this before but I really don't like the configuration. BTW, it's PCI-E, not PCI-X.

I doubt you can overclock to 4.1Ghz like tomshardware with that heatsink of yours... Even with the zalman CNPS9500 full speed, at 4.1Ghz the 805 go all the way upto 80C at full load, resulting CPU throttle during heavy load... The 805 @ 4Ghz+ is ideal iff you have water cooling and above...

My advice on building a system is just to be patient and don't rush through assembly. Make sure your ram is properly seated before you turn on the power.

Also check for newest drivers and put em on a CD before installing the drivers your GPU comes with. That should save you a few steps while setting up the software.

Good luck with the 4.1Ghz overclock, would do it myself if dual core motherboards were cheaper!
