I bought a new sound cad when my on-board screwed up, and now when I play BF2 with the sound accelerated by the Hardware. The VO commands sound all choppy. Like "Ene-my Hos-ti-les Spo-tt-ed". But the gun sounds the running, and explosions are all perfectly fine.
I just a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit. can you help out?

What exactly is wrong with the onboard that prompted this "upgrade"?

Hello, Jam. I could never figure it out. But my new sound card does work. it was like my on board just broke, but when I disable it some of my usb ports go too so I just don't know. 32-bit? I'm pretty sure 24 is enough. Anyone else?
