These are the specs of the new computer I plan on getting. Do you think it is adequate? If not, what would you change?

I think you're wasting $150-200 on the Zalman & soundcard.

Ok I go with the Vanquisher for the cooler. Are you suggesting I just stick with the onboard for the sound? Or what would you suggest for a soundcard?

1 or 2 more gigs of ram wouldn't hurt to invest in...depending on how much ram your board supports.....
