Alright, I'm such a noob. I got this game and i didnt know the system requirements of it, and then when i got home and tried to install it, I found out that apparently, my processor and graphics etc. aren't up to par. So, what i'm wondering is if there are modifications i can do to my dinky little lap top to make it so that the game runs on it, or if its pretty much a lost cause? Sorry that i have no idea what im doing and any information would be GREATLY appreciated. Especially if its quite soon, because i only have a couple of days if i wanna beg them to let me return it (since it's already open obviously). THANKS!

What Game?

After reading up about the averatec 3200 series it has onboard graphics so unless u are looking at playing age of empires 1 i doubt it

And RAM is stuck at 512 unless u pull it out an upgrade it to 1 x 1gig stick... (Expensive upgrade)

My advise is if its any good game then return it ASAP

TJ297 All Prices are in Auzzie Dollars =D

AMD 3800+
2 Gig RAM
Nvidia 7800GT
Thermaltake 430w PSU
Antec LAN-boy Case
Onboard Sound WOOOOT
Surprisingly not bad :p

also, that 512 ram is probably being reduced by the onboard graphics by 64mb... so if the game need 512 ram then it will lag like crazy

Generally speaking, laptops/notebooks are not meant for gaming UNLESS you buy a "gaming laptop". And they usually start at about $1500 & go up from there. The problem is the integrated graphics used in 'normal' laptops are inadequate for gaming...adding more RAM may help overall system performance, but it's not gonna change the fact that the onboard video isn't up to the task.
