Comment: Any advice would be great. I do quite a bit of computer gaming and I have recently bought Titan Quest and Prey. According to the minimum specs for Titan Quest I should be able to run it however each time I try to play it crashes and reboots after at the most a few minutes of playing. My computer specs are: AMD Athlon 1800+. 1,54 GHz. 512MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 6600 Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-110D I have been able to play Oblivion and FEAR without any problems. Titan Quest and Prey are the only ones I have ever had a problem with. Does anybody have any idea what may be causing the crashing?

Reply: (edit)could be a driver error. Make sure you have the latest video and chipset drivers installed. Also go to directX's website and download and re-install the latest version of dx9. Reply: (edit)When it crashes it crashs without an error. It just reboots. With my Sound Card I'm not sure which one I have. After looking in my device manager it says I have MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device and VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller (WDM).(One of these may be a sound card..sorry for being such a noob). I've just updated my Direct X and I still have the same issue.

Reply: (edit)I've updated all my drivers and the same thing keeps happening. Could anything else be causing this crashing during games and rebooting?

Reply: (edit)Could my graphics card overheating cause my PC to reboot like this while playing certain PC games?
