I have an internet sharing port that I want to hook up to share the internet connection between my computer and laptop. When I hook it up everything seems to work fine. Both computers access the internet at the same time & we can play comp games online at the same time. The only problem I have not been able to fix is that We run a game sever off our computer. When I hook up this sharing port people are not able to connect to the game server. We can play this game, on our own server - other people cannot acces it. Our players have told me that under ping times it shows a dash - the server is listed they just cannot connect. Anyone know what could be causing this?

good question dan, also... idk what a sharing port is (i dont even think it exists), but maybe one of the ports that the game uses to transfer the information is being blocked.
