I read here in one of my posts that motherboards sometimes have trouble with Corsair XMS. I'm really looking to get a gig, so my question is, should I send back the XMS and get a gig of something else, or should I stay with the XMS and just get another stick of it?

Where did you get that from? Well Corsair is pretty popular and they should work with most motherboards so I think you should keep it.

Most motherboards that do have problems released a BIOS upgrade to take care of it. I'd check that out first.

Stay the course with the Corsair XMS, just make shure you use one's with the same 10 nano sec. , or whatever you currently have in your system .
Mixing one's with another speed will cause a slowdown to ocour . The same is true for mixing with a diffrent brand of memory .
