Need help with Crysis and Crossfire

Hey, need some help with crossfire. My specs

amd phenom ii x4 955@3.5ghz
Msi 790fx-gd70 MoBo
8gig 1333 ddr3 ram
2xasus EAH5770 Xfire (stock clocks)
Corsair tx750w psu

os:win7 64bit

Running Crysis 1.1 with Catalyst 9.12(tried the
9.12 hotfix but that just messed everything up)

When I run Crysis with xfire enabled,I get a
noticeable increase in performance, and at
times I get almost 100% scaling. I am pleased
with the results, but, every 5 seconds, there is
a 'lag' in which the gameplay suddenly slows
to a crawl for a fraction of a second, then it is
fine, and then, 5 seconds later, it lags again. It
keeps doing this and it is really bothering me.
With 1 card, it works fine, but the performance
is a lot lower.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

What are u trying to say? Crysis can run in high settings on hd 5770 single, that's why i don't like crossfire & sli. U can try to download the latest drives from manufacture website and install them make sure u uninstal the old driver first.
