Hello,
First off, I have a Dell Inspiron 640m, with a Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset with 224MB memory.
Now I know that with this I shouldn't play the sims2, so I would like to know if there is ANYTHING I can do to change this?
On another forum I read that there's nothing I can do about it :(
But on this forum I read a similar question/problem and someone replied that you could upgrade the video card.
Please help me, I'm so confused.
Thank you.

Norma

You can't change the video card on 99% of laptops/notebooks. If you wanna play games with a notebook, buy one that's built for gaming:

The sims 2 not so power hungry unless you crank the game's option to max. Have you tried it first or just asking b4 you buy the game? Anyway, i dont think you will have a problem running this game on this laptop. Just dont crank the graphics option so high. Buying new high end gaming laptop just for this game is not a necessity.
