Need help - Sierra Gold Rush to DOS Computer

October 12, 2010 at 18:02:45
Specs: Windows XP / DOS 5.0, 1gb / 640kb
I'm trying to play Sierra Gold Rush on my Toshiba T3100 laptop which is running dos 5.0. However, when I format my floppies for DOS 5.0, it tells me that there is not enough space on the floppy disk and to put another in. Well, i dont think the game can run like that. Any ideas on what I should do? I have the files for Sierra Gold Rush, just need to get them onto multiple disks if not one disk (when i say multiple, i mean get the files that are supposed to be on disk 1-5 on the correct disks). The only game i've gotten to work on the machine is "Arctic Fox" which is less than 200kb in size.

I'm using 3.5" 1.44mb HD floppies and having my DOS 5.0 computer format them.

I'm downloading these game files from DOS Gamer.

The laptop needs a hard drive 40 -60MB to install MS-DOS on, then you need to also configure sound settings etc etc............

I already have DOS. Im asking how to install Gold Rush onto multiple floppy disks. I can get Leisure Suit Larry to work only because the first one will fit on one 720k floppy.
