need for speed shift

i have recent installed need for speed shift and it installs it loads up showing the loading screen but then does not go further than this nothing happens then if i do crlt-alt-del error message comes up any ideas

Tough to answer when you don't list your complete system specs. Are you sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements for the game? especially the video card?
