hi all

i am planing to buy a new notebook
Acer Aspire 5102WLMi

and it contains radeon x1100
AMD Turion64 X2 TL-50(1.6GHz)

i have 2 main points i want to ask about:

#1 is about the AMD Turion64 X2 TL-50(1.6GHz)

i want to know if this processor is vista ready or not?
and is it better than intel solo t1350
or intel duo t2050
i mean is this AMD ready for medium games or not as the intel is 32 and the amd 64.

#2 is about the VGA ATI X1100
i dont know if it is good or not

but is it vista ready to run Aero or not?

and as a beginner gamer is it fine and what is the equavilant for Nvidea go6150 is better or not

thanks in advance

i plan to buy this aspire in one week so i hope to know what i shall do

my budget is $750 as for acer aspire

thanks again in advance

You're not gonna get a gaming laptop/notebook for $750 & the Aspire you have listed is no exception. If you want decent gaming, you'll have to double your budget.

The Radeon X1100 is the chipset, not the graphics. Integrated into the X1100 chipset is the Radeon X300.

"i didnt mean gaming laptop"..."as i will not play the latest games max settings"

You may not be able to play with low settings either, it would depend on the game.
