When Installing NBA Live 2004, an error comes up on the second disk that says a problem occured transfering E:\render\xteam.viv. And when I try to copy and paste it into the folder it says I/O Device Error. Anyone have any advice?

The cd is probably scratched. Usually when a cd is scratched, Windows will pop a message that will say "Cyclic Redundancy Error."
