Nascar Racing 2/Need for Speed III

I recently upgraded our Gateway from 98 to XP. My husband's racing games, Nascar Racing 2 & Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit, worked just fine on 98. Will they work on XP too? I'm afraid to install them until I'm more certain they won't mess something up because of the difference in OS.
I tried installing them on an old computer that belonged to my SIL that has 95 on it, but it didn't have enough RAM.
Any advice? I'd really like to be able to set these games up again for my husband. ;)

They should work, they definantly wont mess anything up. Might run a little slower because XP hogs more memory than 98.

well XP only hogs more memory if you dont know how to control it.

Thank you for the advice. My only concern was driver conflicts between a game meant for 9X/ME and our new XP OS.
My SIL gave her old AST computer (with 95 installed) to my husband when she bought her new HP a couple of years ago. He finally set it up the other day and tried to download the games, but there wasn't enough memory. We're going to take it to the computer shop to up the memory and see if we can't get the older games downloaded on that machine.
