Hi,
I just got given a 128Mb GeXCube Radeon 9600XT from a friend to replace my current 64Mb integrated video. I installed it and it works fine when running standard applications in Windows (XP), but when I try running games the computer goes hay-wire. Different games seem to provoke differnt responses from the computer heres what happens:

Warcraft3: Either reboots itself or shows the main title screen which begins to blur and smudge.

Lego - STar Wars: Shows company logos then freezes on "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..." screen.

Prince of Persia(WW): The monitor switches off as if I had shut down the computer.

Im stumped as I know very little about video cards and I was hoping somebody could shed some light on the situation.

Thanks in advance.

In addition to the above, make sure to install the latest motherboard chipset drivers....

Could be an overheating issue, too, but the other theories seem far more likely.

"Republicans in Congress are moving to ratify a constitutional amendment to ban flag burning, thus ending the Iraq insurgency."
