When you say you tryed to delete it, did you "uninstall" or simply right-click on the file and select delete? Since you are using a dell, i assume that your computer came with dell's software bundle, which includes: matchbox jukebox, powerDVD, and other media software. WMP(windos media player) uses the codec included in powerDVD to play DVD's. I would recomend that you go into controll panel, and choose add/remove programs. Then remove matchbox jukebox that way(if you did not do this already), then remove powerDVD also. Your dell computer should come with a big pile of CD-ROM's.
