my gta2 doesn't run on xp

actually, i dont think there are files that let you do that. GTA 2 is a pretty old game so it only supports Windows Me/98/98SE/2000?/nT. If you have a Windows Me CD, I suggest you reformatt and install WIndows Me instead. A Pentium 2 with 128mb RAM would be pretty S L O W on a XP.

just a suggestion. you CAN tweak your comp by removing all start ups etc.. but its not really recommended to use a os like xp with a p2.

I agree on what [d]lod152 told you. Grand Theft Auto 2 is an old game that can support older versions of windows. GTA2's hardware dosen't reconigze XP's hardware sine XP has newer and more advanced hardware. GTA2 is pretty old and dosen't know xp at all.

I have made a little tutorial for installing gta2 on windows xp. You must register before you can view the tutorial and download the files. I hope this all works out for you. It works for me and my friends. I will also play multiplayer with whoever wants to when they get it going.
