ok, I have a radeon sapphire x800 GTO graphics card. The only way I can get it to work is to turn on my computer and wait 3 seconds and slide it in and it will work fine but if I put it in and turn on my computer my screen is black? What could the problem be? When I wait and put it in and I go to my drivers on my computer it says that the drivers are installed and that the graphics card is working properly. Ive tried EVERYTHING to get it to work. I have a dell intel quadcore desktop. Can anyone please help??
if its a pci-e card check that the slot is not damaged if its agp do the same if still not work try it on another pc if worked than th slot is damaged try switchin slots but i may think its the Power supply the card is not receivin enough power
Ill see what I can do about the power supply. Not really sure what to do tho. Well I know the ram is good and the slots are good because my computer tells me whats in the slots but it wont let me use it. The 1 gig ram is made by a different manufacturer so I think thats why it doesnt work. Any tips on what to do about my power supply?
