ok i have two gamer rigs picked out that r in my price range. one has intel pentium dual core e5200 running at 2.5GHz with a nvidia 9600gt 512mb video card and 4gb dual channel ddr2-800(2X2GB). OR do i go with a intel quad core 2 q8400 processer running at 2.66ghz with a 1gb nvidia gforce 9500gt video card with 4gb high speed ddr2-800 memory. this is going to be a gaming rig and online gaming rig nothing more ..(processers are unclocked)

I would go with the second because of the better cpu, but get at least a 9800gt, 9500 arnt really for gaming. In shouldnt cost too much.

You should also list the motherboards or at least the make/model of the chipset the boards are based on. There's no point going for the better CPU if the motherboard sucks. And as ponted out by Gamer126, the 9500GT isn't much of a gaming card...chances are you'll be unhappy with it & will have to upgrade.

What does that mean?
