Comment: I play a lot of games and recently have found a lot of issues plaguing them. Can anybody help... My System:
CPU - Athlon XP 2400
RAM - 512Mb
GeForce 4 MX 4000 System Shock 2 - Yes I know its an old game but its one of the few good ones that I missed and just got my hands on a copy (not pirated). It installs fine but hten simply doesn't work. No error Message or anything! Absolutely nothing happens when I click the exe file. Half Life 2 (Pirated copy) - Game plays fine for a while. Then AI simply stops functioning. I can still move around and shoot stuff but can't interact with any of the characters. Enemies are also frozen. Very frustating! Chronicles of Riddick - (This I tried on a PC with a DX9 compliant card since Geforce 4 MX is not supported) I encountered the Sbzengine.exe error when I try to start the game. There is site with a possible solution but it didn't work for me even after that. (Not a pirated copy).

Reply: (edit)System Shock 2 - It won't run under XP, you could always look up fan sites for the games to see if anyone has made a patch for it to run. Half Life 2 (Pirated copy) - It's a pirate, you got what you paid for. Solution: Buy the game like the rest of us. Chronicles of Riddick - Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date, you have the latest direct x and the latest patch for the game in question. If the problem persists, contact the game manufacturer. AMD Athlon 1.8GHz
