mouse ****** up in quake2..

My mouse has VERY VERY bad lag in quake 2. It works fine in all other games, and the game it self dose not lag just the mouse. when I mave it it will work for a sec and then freeze and so on. The game it self plays at over 200fps but the mouse is screwed up! it is an optical usb 2button wheel mouse by logitec.
OMFG!!!! IT HAPPENS WITH THE KEYBOARD 2!!!!! THEY R BOTH USB, AND THIS OLY HAPPENS IN QUAKE 2!!! IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAMN F*CKING ANNOYING!!!!!! IT IS LIKE THEY ARE NOT REALTIME OR SOMETHING!!!!!!
