mouse problem

i have a mx510 and i use logitech drivers how come in q3 and other games i have to set my sens real low? in windows sens, its 1 notch away from left, no accel, and checked disable acceleration in game in q3 i use 1.3 sens, m_yaw/pitch 0.007, mouseaccel .1 i use windows xp, and i downlaoded the xp accel remover and my sens is still super fast i have tried reformatting and it did nothing, still fast i tried diff mice such as ie explorer 3.0 and mx300 and i've tried microsoft drivers and the results are the same? if u want demos of what my sens looks like i can post it its also the same in other games like painkiller and counterstrike and more ants
