motherboard chipset identifacation?

Anyway to find out the motherboard chipset number with a utility? Please help..

yeah..there is a bios chipset identifier. One program is BeLarc Advisor, handy tool which analyzes your computer and tells you almost everything you use(RAM,MOTHERBOARD).

and there is one more called BIOSwizard or something like that. Try finding for bios identifiers in search engines such as yahoo.

download AIDA 32 it does a great job of quickly and accurately breaking down your whole system and best of all it's free.
just punch "AIDA32" into Google and you'll find lots of pages to get it from
