Hey fellas. I need help on one thing:

I started playing WoW and it was runing fine for a day with no problem. The next day, when i was playing out of no where randomly my monitor shut off by iself while i was playing and the monitor displayed "monitor going to sleep"...the computer the tower was still up and running but i could not get my monitor to come back. The light on the monitor changed from blue ( to when its on) to light yellow ( to when it's off). I don't know what is causing this, i tried almost everything and yes, i made sure that the monitor is plugged in. The only way to fix it is by pressing the tower button for a restart...ti's very annoying. it happens only when WoW is up....when i have it minimized it's fine. If i let WoW run more than 4 minutes now or so it will go down and i have to reboot....so i have to keep minimizing WoW every 30 seconds in order to play without my monitor going totally black and shutting off on me. I know it's a weird error, but does anyone have any suggestions or solutions on this problem? THANKS in advance.

Did you set the power scheme in screen saver power option by "Turn off monitor - after 4minutes"? Try to switch that to "never"... Second thing to consider would be hook up your monitor with another machine to ensure the monitor is working properly. If the monitor works fine in the other machine but it's either your graphic card needs the latest driver update or there is spyware in your computer causing it. If all of the above doesn't work, then the final place to suspect would be the graphic card itself, i.e bad connector...

The screen savers thing i've already done before and it's good, i've searched for spyware and nothing, and this monitor works fine. no reason it should not....because it says NO VGA INPUT when i turn it back on after it turns off. THe light goes to yellow at first...i press the monitor button so it can turn off and when i press it back up it's BLUE meaning it's on and the scren comes up that says NO VGA INPUT and then it goes back to yellow color and turns off again....and i found out that it is for ALL MY GAMES now...and not just for WoW....so annoying.

Sounds Like your Video Card is overheating and shutting down, or isn't getting enough Power. What Video Card are you running? Some of the Hi-end Cards require a P/S of no less than 450W.

I have the same problem. I cant play WoW and Warcraft3 does the same but takes longer. It's very anoying. I have a radeon 9250 256MB. I think the problem lies with the BIOS Ram settings. I used this graphic card in my previos pc and i got fixed this problem then by changing the ram settings but now i got a new cpu and motherboard and i have the same problem again and dunno what 2 do! I have a amd sampron cpu (2600) 64 bit and i installed the latest 4 in 1 via chipset drivers and ati catalyst 6.3. Help me plz!
