Hi,

My problem is, that everytime I play some 3d-games, the monitor goes black, and I have to restart my machine. Sometimes this happens, sometimes not. Other programs work well, only the games are the problem. I have a Cluc3D Radeon 128 graphic card. I don´t think that there´s an overheat problem, because I have programs which show the temperatures and they´re normal. The fast-write options are all disabled.

if the screen went black, 1st check the little amber light on the monitor, if its green, then its either the game or video software problem(like directX, opengl or other video software). if its orange(means the monitor is off), then you should check the video card.

You may be the unfortunate victim of an unknown "bug" issue.many ATI and Nvidia(ATI in particular) are suffering from this.

I haven´t tried with another monitor, but the games I play are supportd by ATI Radeon, like Call of Duty. I think the problem is with my AMD prosessor, (Radeon doens´t support Amd 100%?) I´ll change it to Pentium. Maybe that works.

Don't switch to Pentium, fool! That's just more cash and heartache, besides, Pentiums suck for games, BAD. And so does ATI, REALLY BAD. So just exchange that piece of junk for a GeForce FX and it'll solve ALL of your problems. I guarrantee.
