Comment: Hi, Im looking at the Inspiron 9200 in the Dell outlet and it has the MR9700 128mb card, which from what I've read is pretty decent for gaming. Then I seen the HP/compaq zd8000/X6000 laptop for about the same amount of cash, it has the Mobility x600 256mb. I havent been able to find any info on this card. Would I get better performance out of the x600, or is the MR9700 better. Thanks for your help.

Reply: (edit)Unless if the X600 has 64 Bit memory it is far better then the 9700 but.. why get a laptop for gaming? In a year it will be out ofd ate and you wont be able to upgrade it. Waste of money in my eyes but yeah to your question unless if its 64 bit memory its far better then the 9700. Processor P4@ 2.6 Ghz, FSB@535Mhz RAM 512MB's PC2700/32001 256 stick of each. Reply: (edit)My reason for Laptop gaming is to be able to go to LAN parties, my area only has dial up and I would like to play WOW or Guild wars, so I'll just have to travel to a hotspot to play. Well when I go to ATI it only lists the 64mb and 128 mb version of the x600, and they are 128bit. So Im not sure what bit the 256mb one is.

Reply: (edit)Actually I just ordered a Dell I9300 1.6ghz-512mb ram-40 gig hdd, Nvidia Geforce6800(like you said) for $1248 with tax and shipping plus got a free printer. I got this using a $600 coupon off purchases over 1599. And its brand new not from the outlet. Just thought I'd let you know, what I got.
