Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth...

I was wondering about replacing the old GM.DLS with a custom DLS file for FF8. However, only Microsoft Synthesizer, which is not available in Multimedia properties, is affected. The one that is available in the Multimedia properties, Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth, is still unaffected. I wonder how to change the soundfont for this synth, so I can listen the FF8 music outside the game and without a Soundblaster Live! or Audigy 4. Can you tell me the file that is used for Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth, or how to replace the soundfont for that one, not only Microsoft Synthesizer.
