OS: WIN XP PRO
CPU/Ram: amd 2700/ 1gig DDR

If i talk into my mic really loud i can hear myself thru the headset but its super low even tho the volume is all the way up when the mic boost is on. When its off i cant hear anything. but i no it works cuz i can hear it when mic boost is on butits super super low

is the mic volume set on high, or the system volume?

Mute your mic in windows playback control. This way whatever you say through the mic wont be sent back through your headphones.

and sound only gets thru to the recorder if its umuted, so i no my mic works but somewhere the volume is set to low is what it seems
